rejected design / centralworld's denim event

our rejected concepts / since the client have no budget for graphic design.. as always / we had to come up with a concept that is super cheap to produce / so here's out concepts / the first one was "denim nation" / a photo retouching technique / we wanted to add a little humor into our design by select some of the most serious politic images in the history and then try to obviously blend in the denim / the second one was called "denimlicious" / a sexy photography technique / we wanted to show how denim can be so delicious from a series of body curves photography / last rejected concept was "everybodylovesdenim" / we wanted to treat this concept as a campaign / by using the fact that denim can save the world's resource (because it last longer than any other ordinary materials) / we wanted to come up with a strong image that attracts people / the concept was planned to features a series of black&white photography of a different type, class or nationality of people wearing denim / we proposed our client to sign up and create a website where anybody can post pictures of themselve wearing jeans or even vote for denim! / xxxx.

/ art direction, theme and name of the exhibition created by graphicfarm / graphicfarm came up with many concepts / client finally select "rhythm of denim" / we tried to created relationship between music and jeans by using graphic pattern / so here's what the client selected / i have to say that the end result was not really what we hoped for at the beginning / but oh well.....
